The Lincoln MKX offers a standard Reverse Sensing System that audibly alerts you to certain objects that are directly behind the vehicle. As you slowly back up, the system beeps if it senses an object. The closer you get, the quicker the system beeps, providing added convenience

The available voice-activated Navigation System with SIRIUS ® Travel Link™ allows you to get directions, information on traffic backups, even gas prices. The system combines Global Positioning System (GPS) technology with 3-D mapping to provide turn-by-turn voice guidance. The system allows you to save destinations, gives you the shortest route and will even reroute you if you miss a turn. Simply input your destination on the touch screen and you’ll receive directions to help get you to your destination. System features include: 10GB digital jukebox with voice-controlled access to music files, Personal photo upload capability, and Bird’s-eye map view with six adjustable angle settings. DVD movie viewing on navigation screen when the vehicle is in Park.

And with the help of its smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission, it employs more power using less fuel. The result is a smooth, powerful ride with fewer stops at the pump.

Helps Maintain Your Grip. The Lincoln MKX helps you keep a handle on things all year long. The available Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive System proactively senses wheel slippage and works in conjunction with traction control to help distribute torque appropriately to the wheels with the most grip, allowing them to seize the road and increase traction.

Safety & Security

Driver and Front Passenger Airbags. There are a total of six standard airbags in the Lincoln MKX to help protect the driver and front passengers. The Safety Canopy System helps protect you and your passengers in the unfortunate event of a rollover or side-impact accident. The system includes rollover detection sensors and side-curtain airbags, which deploy between the passenger and side window.

AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control (RSC) is an electronic stability enhancement system. Roll Stability Control, an industry-exclusive feature can measure what other systems ignore, or can only estimate. The system features a vehicle-roll motion sensor that directly measures the vehicle’s roll-rate at least 100 times every second. This helps determine when and how it will utilize the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), traction control and yaw control to help keep all four wheels of the Lincoln MKX firmly planted.
