13th Annual Juvenile Diabetes Golf Tournament

Here we are in our 13th year of running the Crowley Automotive Golf Tournament for Juvenile Diabetes, and again we look to our loyal friends to support us in a very tough year. We understand the difficulties everyone has had with the economy and business in general, but unfortunately this disease doesn’t take time off. We need help to find a cure and make the lives of thousands of children and adults better. Please, before you say you can’t this year, remember how important our mission is. To date our total donation has hit $600,000!!!!! Wait till they find the cure, we’ll all have had a part in it, and that will be a great feeling in your heart to have helped. This year will again be played at the Gillette Ridge Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut. It’s an impressive course, with excellent food, awesome facilities, and a location centrally located for your convenience. The comments have been overwhelming about the facility, the treatment, and of course the prizes. It doesn’t seem possible that this tournament is celebrating year 13, but it could not have happened without the loyal support of all our past sponsors, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. The tournament will be held at Gillette Ridge Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut on Sunday, September 13th, 2009. As usual it will kick off with a relaxed barbecue lunch at 11:30 AM, with a shot gun start scheduled for 1:00 PM. There will be on-course refreshments throughout the day. Fairway challenges and closest to the pin on all par 3’s will be some of the options to make the day fun and exciting. This year’s hole-in-one will be for a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Four Door! After golf, join us for a DELICIOUS buffet dinner reception. Awards for the various events, as well as numerous door prizes will be presented after the reception.
